Star with a following

To name a fund after the third-brightest star in the sky - Arcturus - might seem slightly unambitious, but Steven Brann, manager of Miton Arcturus, believes the vehicle offers investors a safety net in times of turbulence.

"The name means 'bear watcher', but we are not a bear market fund; what we are trying to do is protect people's money in case a bear market comes along," says Mr Brann.
