Mobile technology has become a fundamental part of how enterprise users communicate with each other and their customers, as proved by the amount of money they spend on wireless equipment and services.

According to a recent survey of businesses by Strategy Analytics, companies in Europe will spend on average 12 per cent of their IT budgets on wireless technologies in 2008, rising to 17 per cent by 2010 - which equates to €100 a user in France and Germany and £58 for each employee in the UK.
