Opener in quest for long run of form

When Marcus Trescothick takes to the field at Lord's on Thursday in the first Test against the West Indians, his career will have come full circle.

It was four years ago against the last touring side from the Caribbean that the burly lefthander with the stooped gait exploded on to the Test scene, belting 66 and 38 not out at Old Trafford against an attack containing the ageing pace kings Courtney Walsh and Curtley Ambrose.
