Former President Bill Clinton on Wednesday unveiled a far-reaching agreement with five of the world's leading medical companies to deliver cut-price HIV/Aids laboratory tests for millions of people in the Caribbean and sub-Saharan Africa.

The agreement follows a similar deal struck between the Clinton Foundation and several generic-drug companies last year that sharply reduced the price of anti-retroviral drugs in the developing world.
